We had just moved across the country, were living in a less than ideal setup with two young kids, and were carrying a lot of stress into the search. Through all of that, they were patient, kind, and steady in a way that made the whole process feel manageable.

They were incredibly responsive and always willing to show homes, even when I’m sure they quietly suspected some of them wouldn't be the right fit for us. They never judged our preferences or tried to steer us somewhere we did not want to be. Instead, they asked thoughtful questions, tried to understand what mattered to us, and picked up on our taste quickly.

Their diligence was incredible. They would always call or visit town offices to get answers about zoning, rules, or other things that might affect us. One example that stood out was how they remembered we wanted chickens and checked every single property for whether it was allowed. Little things like that made us feel like we had someone on our side who truly cared.

They were consistent and dependable the entire six months. They never dropped off or got less engaged, even when the search took longer than expected. Since they work as a team, we always had someone available, which made scheduling showings so much easier.

Given the market conditions, their creativity made all the difference in finding and securing a home within our price range and purchasing constraints.

Balsam Realty performed excellently and humanely. As listed we were involved in closing an estate which was very time consuming for his and especially for Kate and Jonas. We started out as partners from the go. Of course it took use a long while to actually sign the contract, that is until the State of Maine assigned us The Personal Representative, giving legal legal authority. From our first meeting Balsam introduced us to many of the people we would need to prepare the house for sale, plumbers, cleanings, repair people, etcetera. Amazing all the people you need to take care of your through this adventure. We were able to accomplish most of this remotely from out of state. Kate and Jonas kept us up to date was things needed to be done in addition to weekly meetings, every very Tuesday at 4:00 P.M.. We can recommend they will give you the same service and treat you extremely well. They went more than the extra mile, in fact, they went many more miles than we expected.
