Maine home sales in May 2021 are up 28.32% and prices are up 28.21% over May 2020 (granted this was during the shutdown). However, Home sales in Maine are also up 13% over April 2019 (when the market was already a strong seller’s market).

Anyone can sell a house in this hot seller’s market.

Home price appreciation continues to accelerate. Today, prices are driven by the simple concept of supply and demand. Pricing of any item is determined by how many items are available compared to how many people want to buy that item.
